Does fluoridated water offer enough health benefits to continue the practice? If you look at the damage that fluoride does to the rest of the body, it may not.
In the following letter to the editor of The Moab Times-Independent, Susan Baffico voices her objection to adding fluoride to the water supply of Moab.
She shared the well know fact that fluoride displaces iodine, a critical part of thyroid hormones. She went on to share that research shows fluoride may play a role in Alzheimer’s Dementia and high levels of fluoride during pregnancy leads to lower IQ and test scores in children.

I have always read that if you have one autoimmune disease, that puts you at risk of developing another autoimmune disease.
While scientists are still studying what causes them, all autoimmune diseases have relapsing and remitting tendencies. You may feel well for a while and then have a flare-up. There are over 80 different autoimmune diseases, some more common than others.
The following is a patient’s guide to autoimmune disease by Lisa Esposito. She shares a lot of information on common types, causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatments.
Have a great weekend!
