Hashimotos- Is It Really Possible To Feel Better

Hashimotos thyroiditis is an autoimmune disease that attacks the thryoid causing fatigue and weight gain. In the following article by Moira Lawler, she shares Erin Mulkins journey back to health. Erin shares how her general practitioner had told her for years her thyroid levels were normal. Then after the birth of her son, she was diagnosed with Hashimotos thyroiditis.

Mulkins’s general practitioner had insisted her thyroid levels were normal, and the endocrinologist who diagnosed her with Hashimoto’s said the disease couldn’t be treated. Mulkin’s friend encouraged her to see a Naturopathic doctor, who did blood tests and explained her body was a mess. Her doctor set up a treatment plan of medications and supplements to support her return to health.
