Essential oils are all the rage right now. Everywhere you turn there are ads from these oils offering you relief from the wide range of symptoms that come with hypothyroidism. But , do these oils really help ease any of those symptoms? I can tell you from experience that lemongrass is very soothing for dry skin and lavender is one of the best for calming my anxiety and stress. We also have eucalyptus because my partner has COPD and this oil helps clear your lungs. My 14-year-old grandson will get the eucalyptus and have the diffuser going within minutes of arriving at our house. He loves the smell and the energy boost he gets from it.

Now, I already mentioned the fact that I get relief from my anxiety from lavender oil. Now, many are also getting anxiety relief from cannabis oil , not to mention; relief from seizures in children, easing of tremors in Parkinson’s patients, and help coping with depression in people of all ages. It doesn’t matter what your feelings are about cannabis are, if they can use the oil to ease suffering, I am all for it!
