Echotherapy is a promising new treatment for thyroid nodules. The new ultrasound device, called EchoPulse, works by using ultrasound to generate heat in a targeted area. Doctors believe it could take the place of surgery thus eliminating the incisions and scars of traditional thyroid surgery. Sounds good to me!
